The "Donghai County Micro Platform" issued a situation report: On the morning of August 24, 2023, the Anfeng Town Government organized the demolition of illegal construction. At the scene, an individual set themselves on fire and self-inflicted injuries before falling from the roof of a one-story building. The on-site personnel promptly transported the injured person to the hospital, and the injured person is currently receiving medical treatment.

After the incident, the county committee and county government attached great importance to the matter and have formed an investigation team. Further investigation into the situation is currently underway.
