In Shanxi, a long-distance bus collided with a tunnel wall inside a highway tunnel, resulting in the deaths of 5 people.

 On August 23rd around 17:30, a traffic accident occurred in the Fenghuangling Tunnel of the Cangyu Expressway, located within the jurisdiction of Wutai County, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province. A long-distance bus collided with the tunnel wall during its travel. Following the accident, local fire departments, highway patrol, and other relevant authorities mobilized personnel for rescue efforts.

It's reported that this accident resulted in 5 fatalities and multiple injuries. The cause of the accident is under further investigation.
