Three Public Officials, including Luo Xudong, the Executive Deputy Mayor of Shulan, Jilin, Sacrificed in Disaster Relief Operations

Reporters learned from the Shulan City Flood Control and Disaster Relief Command: Previously, Luo Xudong, a member of the Shulan Municipal Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor, who went to Kaibei Town and Jinma Town in Shulan City for flood control and disaster relief, as well as Zhou Kunxun, the Political Commissar of the Shulan City People's Armed Forces Department, and Ni Feng, a senior engineer at the Jilin City Water Resources and Hydropower Planning Institute, who were reported missing during the flood control and disaster relief operation, were found on August 6. They were found without vital signs and sacrificed in the line of duty. Another missing person, Zhang Zhizhao, Chief of the Comprehensive Division II of the Shulan City People's Government Office and a fourth-level principal staff member, is still under intensive search and rescue.
